Dana Schock,
CPA, CFP, Partner
Dana
attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated in 1972 with a
Bachelors degree in Business Administration. In 1982 Dana earned his
CPA certificate and became an owner of Campbell, Schock and Company.
In 1988 Dana completed the requirements to become a Certified Financial
Advisor.
Along
with our Dayton office Dana maintains an office in New Carlisle to
serve that community's growing accounting and investment concerns.
Dana is well known throughout Clark County. His father owned a plumbing
business and Dana learned to appreciate the value of hard work and
maintaining client relationships. Several times a week, you can find
Dana, a New Carlisle resident, attending church board meetings or
discussing a new business venture with clients in the Clark County
area. He believes in being involved in his community and finds his
clients appreciate his accessibility and friendly manner.
In
the Dayton area, Dana is involved in the Greater Dayton Real Estate
Investor Association. He is a frequent lecturer on matters concerning
real estate investments, how to be profitable as a landlord, financing
real estate and matters related to buying and selling real estate.
As
a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Dana believes in planning early
to ensure a bright future. The uncertainty of the economy bears out
once again how important solid financial planning is when someone
is trying to move ahead. Making an incorrect or an ill timed decision
can mean the difference of thousands of dollars. He always has your
best interests in mind. He helps you decide what your options are
based on your own unique circumstances and then develops a plan to
maximize any opportunities while minimizing any risks.

Charles
Campbell, CPA, Retired Partner (Inactive)
Armed
with a degree in accounting from Ohio State University, Chuck began
his career with Battelle & Battelle in 1953-59. Around that time,
Chuck also married Martha and had two lovely children.
It
did not take long for Chuck to crystallize a philosophy of being open
and honest in business dealings. He passes that advice on to business
owners even today. Chuck also believes that organizational skills
are critical to be successful. "The world is so complex it is
easy to miss some important information. Get organized and stay organized."
Chuck
Campbell retired in 1991. Like many accountants, it is hard to be
away during tax season. Chuck still comes in during tax season and
other times.

Carrie
R. Poores, CPA
Who
said you cannot have a little fun while you do accounting work? Although
Carrie takes her work very seriously and has the utmost respect for
all of her clients, she does enjoy her work and it shows. Long hours
spent with clients reviewing financial information often means climbing
over a baby's playpen at a home office or sitting among a small office
with poor air flow on a summer day. Carrie takes it all in stride.
That
is the stuff Carrie is made of. Growing up north of Dayton in Greenville,
Ohio, Carrie learned many things from her part-time jobs during high
school and college. She always maintains a pleasant and patient manner
when handling client matters. She is persistent to always find the
ideal way to handle a client's situation. She moves with ease from
preparing the financial statements for a startup restaurant to $5M
business.
Graduating
from Sinclair Community College, Carrie confidently sat for the CPA
exam, receiving her CPA designation in 1993. She has over 18 years
experience in public accounting and has been with Campbell, Schock
and Company since 1995. Her achieving personality makes her an asset
at the firm.

Terry
Steck, Office Manager/Web Designer
"Keeping
busy and challenged on a daily basis is what I like most and working
with a great group of people, never a dull moment around here. Designing
brochures, newsletters, etc. is an enjoyment for me."
From
a family with a very interesting show business background, Terry has
the most unusual family stories to tell. She has a few pictures of
her grandparents' performance at the Old Steel Pier in Atlantic City,
New Jersey. "I'm not sure what year it is but the one with my
grandmother and Tuffy the Wonder Bear, I believe it was in the late
'40's early '50's. My mother remembers many of the occasions she spent
with the Aerial Show." A picture of her grandparents with Sergeant
Preston Of the Yukon (played by Richard Simmons - not the excitable
fitness guru of the same name) riding one of the bears is also among
the many memorabilia she has.
In
her off time, Terry and her family love to spend their day at Paramount's
Kings Island (PKI) mostly riding roller coasters, "If you have
a lot of stress in your day, nothing is better than letting it all
out on a roller coaster. We just enjoy them." Also, keeping busy
every evening, with my daughter, with our horse and pony. We love
to ride on trails and/or work with the horses in the arena. They are
a lot of work but very enjoyable. Also loving ice hockey our family
enjoy going to the Blue Jackets in Columbus or the Dayton Bombers.
My husband also is a hockey player for an adult league and is a current
student at the University of Dayton in the Engineering Department.
Our son enjoys designing programs, mostly games, and working with
C++. Anything to do with computers is what he likes to do. "We
are on the go a lot in the evenings and weekends."
